The admission process for the upcoming academic session usually commences in November-December. We request you to check our official school website and notice board for the exact dates and notifications.

Admissions are open for specific classes, and the list is published on our website and in the admission notice. Availability is subject to seat capacity in each class.

As per the standard CBSE guidelines and our school policy, the child should have completed 3 years of age for Nursery and 6 years of age for Class 1 by March 31st of the year of admission.

Yes, we have a sibling and alumni preference policy. However, this does not guarantee admission and is subject to the child meeting all other admission criteria and seat availability.

Yes, National High School is a co-educational institution affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Application and Documentation

Yes, the admission form can be downloaded from our official school website or collected from the school's administrative office during the specified admission period.

The cost of the non-refundable registration form is mentioned in the admission notice.

The mandatory documents are:

  • A recent passport-sized color photograph of the child and both parents.
  • Child's Birth Certificate (photocopy).
  • Aadhaar Card of the child and both parents (photocopy).
  • Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill, Aadhar card).
  • Report card of the previous class (for classes 2 and above).
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school (to be submitted after admission is confirmed).

No, only photocopies are required for registration. Original documents will be verified at the time of admission confirmation.

No, applications submitted after the specified deadline will not be considered.

Selection Process

For Nursery to Class 2, the selection is based on a structured, informal interaction with the child and both parents. This is not a test, but a chance for us to understand the child's readiness for school.

Yes, for admission to classes 3 and above, the student is required to appear for a standardized aptitude test followed by an interaction with the Principal. The test assesses basic competency in English, Mathematics, and Science.

For the interaction, we advise parents to be honest and open. For the aptitude test, the syllabus is based on the previous class curriculum. We recommend a simple revision of the core subjects.

No, submitting an application form does not guarantee admission. The selection is based on the child's performance in the evaluation process and the availability of seats.

The entire process, from application submission to the final announcement, is completed within the timeline specified in the admission notice.

Fees and Payment

A detailed and transparent fee structure, including admission fees, tuition fees, and other charges, is available at the school office and on our website.

At this time, National High School does not offer scholarships. However, we are committed to providing quality education at a reasonable and transparent fee structure.

Fees can be paid via online transfer, cheque, or demand draft. We do not accept cash payments.

Admission offers are only valid until the specified payment deadline. Failure to pay within this timeframe will result in the offer being forfeited and the seat being offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.

The admission fee is non-refundable.

Post-Admission Information

The list of selected candidates is published on the school's official website and notice board on the scheduled date. An official communication will also be sent to the contact details provided in the application form.

While we understand this can be disappointing, we have a limited number of seats. We do not provide individual feedback on the selection decision. The school will communicate the final decision respectfully.

Yes, a waiting list is maintained. If a selected candidate declines the admission offer, the seat may be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
