Activities: Rangoli making with paints and flowers, diya painting, handmade Diwali lamps and lanterns
Time: 10:50 am to 12:50 pm
As pre-Diwali celebration, an Art and Craft Workshop was organized in our school auditorium for the students of Classes VII to X of the Secondary Department (Morning and Afternoon Sections). Students enthusiastically participated in activities like creating vibrant rangolis with paints and flowers, designing and decorating colourful clay diyas with paints, and making Diwali lamps and lanterns. These activities not only created a festive atmosphere but also highlighted their creative skills and teamwork. Students were engaged in a creative and culturally enriching experience, while promoting eco-friendly celebration methods of the festival of lights.
These Diwali-themed artworks were indeed a great learning as well as an enjoyable experience for the students. The event was a wonderful way to foster cultural awareness, creativity and community spirit among the students.
Saraswati puja was celebrated with great fervour on January 29, 2020 in our school. Keeping the tradition alive, teachers and students decorated the school with flowers and beautiful pieces of art related to basant Panchami. To mark the occasion, all the students starting from Tiny Tots to the senior most students came in yellow attire. The Puja started with the offering of prasad to Goddess Sarawati, followed by pushpanjali in which the Principals, faculties, Management and students joined hands together with great zeal to evoke the blessings of Goddess of knowledge for a successful academic growth and prosperity. After that havan was performed and the celebration ended with the distribution of bhog. Immersion took place on Friday, taking the blessings of Maa Saraswati.
